Math 7/8 Assignments

Homework policy:.

Homework is given each day that we meet both in the classroom and online and is always due the next school day (when we meet).  Homework is visually checked to see if the student completes the assignment and shows all their work (each assignment = 3 points) .  Homework can be turned in one day after the due date for half credit (2 points).   On the second day after the due date zero credit is awarded for all missing assignments, and no further opportunity to earn credit for those assignments is possible.

Math homework is assigned to make sure all students have adequate practice in applying the concepts taught in class and to provide the opportunity for students to assess whether they are on track in learning critical content. Students check their own homework assignments for accuracy in class the day it is due or in the back of the book when odd problems are assigned. 

Test Corrections:

In order to raise your test grade to a passing 70% "C", you must make all necessary corrections on a separate sheet of paper stapled to your original test and have your test signed by a parent

Absent Policy:

You are responsible for making up any assignments missed.  The number of days that you are absent is the number of days you have to turn in all missing assignments.  Please refer to this page for all missing assignments.
